Welcome to Sipi Falls Tours. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and our tour services. By accessing our website or booking any of our tours, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
Note: These terms also apply to bookings made via third-party platforms, including Google Things to Do, Viator, and GetYourGuide.
- Booking Terms
- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full or partial payment and a confirmation message from our team.
- You must provide accurate personal details including name, contact info, and any relevant health conditions.
- All prices are in [insert currency, e.g. UGX/USD], and we reserve the right to change prices at any time before your booking is confirmed.
- Payment & Pricing
- Accepted payment methods include mobile money, bank transfer, and cash (where applicable).
- A deposit may be required to secure your reservation. The balance must be paid before the start of the tour.
- Quoted prices are per person unless otherwise stated and include applicable local taxes and service fees.
- Cancellations & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation terms below:
- 100% Refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before the tour start time.
- 50% Refund if cancelled between 24–48 hours before the tour.
- No Refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or for no-shows.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
- We reserve the right to cancel tours due to bad weather, safety concerns, or force majeure. In such cases, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
- Changes & Rescheduling
- You may request to reschedule up to 24 hours before your tour without penalty.
- Any change requests are subject to availability and confirmation.
- We reserve the right to change routes, accommodations, or schedules in case of weather, safety, or operational needs.
- Participation & Safety
- You are responsible for assessing your fitness and suitability for the tour activities, including hiking, abseiling, and cultural walks.
- Please follow all safety instructions given by our guides.
- We are not liable for injury or loss caused by failure to follow safety guidelines or due to personal negligence.
- Travel Documents & Entry Requirements
- International travelers are responsible for having a valid passport, visa, and health documents as required by Ugandan authorities.
- We are not liable for any issues due to denied entry or missing documentation.
- Liability Disclaimer
- Participation in any tour is at your own risk.
- We are not responsible for loss, theft, damage to belongings, or delays caused by third-party transport providers or unforeseen events.
- Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the tour, except where prohibited by law.
- Guest Conduct
- We expect respectful behavior toward local communities, guides, and the natural environment.
- Any abusive, illegal, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the tour without a refund.
- Use of Photos & Testimonials
- During our tours, we may take photos or videos of the experience.
- By participating, you grant us permission to use these images for marketing, unless you specifically request otherwise.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising shall be resolved under Ugandan jurisdiction.
